- to retain potential land administrator within the profession
- to provide career development services to members
- to promote the HKILA image and status
ACTION
- To establish a CAREER DEVELOPMENT Sub-Committee to look after the continuous effort
- To assist members to tackle the situation
- To liaise with the concerned parties on the way forward
Mission of the Career Development Sub-Committee (CDSC)
CDSC of HKILA promotes members¡¦ careers education through the provision of careers information to facilitate the members in choosing a career best suited to their talents, interests and abilities. It also provides careers advisors with information backup in conducting their careers guidance duties. Basically, the CDSC term of reference is divided into the following aspects:
Term of Reference of CDSC:
- Careers Information: to produce and collect careers resource materials including
the conducting of a quarterly / half-yearly vacancy survey in land-related business,
relevant job vacancies information, employer search, salary and wage trend etc.
- Careers Record Centre: - to operate a careers record centre which is both
a registry of job-seekers and vacancy registration
- to establish and maintain a reference library in which
members can find publications on employment and
training opportunities in various fields
- to update the Career corner of the HKILA-Homepage
- Careers Activities: to organise careers seminars which provide an excellent forum
for employers and training institutions to present latest information on careers and further studies
