- The 17th AGM was held on 29 December 2011 (Thursday) at 7:00pm in the Scout Centre, 8/F, Austin Road, Kowloon.
- Messrs. Thomas Chan, Denys Kwan, Franklin Au, Raymond TO and Philip Fung represented the Institute to attend the Public Forum on "The Reform of Hong Kong's Development Approval Process" organized by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University held at the ICON Hotel on 9.7.2011.

Urban Renewal Strategy Programme (URSP):
- Under the sponsorship of the Urban Renewal Authority and the Development Bureau of the HKSAR Government, a 2-day Open Seminar/Workshop was successfully held on 6 and 20 June.
